‘My work explores the balance between structure and fluidity, presence and absence. Through layered abstraction, I create depth and contrast - solid forms meet open spaces, and light interacts with shadow. Using oils, acrylics, cold wax and mixed media, I build textured surfaces and abstract paintings that invite contemplation. I enjoy exploring what is seen, implied and what is left unresolved. I also have a love of plants and florals!’

Kate Keaveney is an experimental abstract artist based near Farnham, Surrey, UK. She has a strong affinity with geometry, linework and lots of colour. She enjoys playful creative expression and producing work to a high finish. Kate has an attention to detail, uses premium quality art materials and invests time in many stages of her finishing process.

Kate enjoys painting most days in her home studio and takes part in pop up art shops, exhibitions and art events.

Art work is available as originals, a limited number of prints and commissions.
